Welcome back to the Two Wrongs Make a Legacy - this is chapter 3.2, in which we learn more about the newly formed Ray household.

While Craig was thrilled to have found Kali, and she likewise to have found him, having a new baby in the house proved stressful for them both very quickly. Craig resolved himself to doing what he could to care for Veronica, but he always felt awkward holding such a small thing in his hands.

Unfortunately, after so much time away from her job, Kali had a difficult time adjusting back to the world of piano tuning. She didn't like being away from her new husband and new baby, and she'd forgotten some of the basics. Eventually, she made some bad mistakes at work, and she had to be let go. She didn't come home discouraged however, she used the opportunity to find something a little different.

She also used the time during her job search to help Max get ready for his job. He was really breaking through the ranks as a Showbiz dog, and needed more training to keep up with his promotions.

Kali would admit that her favorite part of having only one of them working for the moment was the time she was able to spend with her new husband.

And it wasn't long before the idea of going to work had to be put on hold. Kali discovered she was pregnant again. It started off rough, having never been through the discomfort when she was pregnant with Veronica, this one started to take a toll on her almost immediately.

Before long, it was time for their little Veronica to grow up. The new pregnancy was making things extremely difficult for Kali, and Craig decided to be the one to help Veronica have her birthday. They didn't have a lot of friends, so there wasn't a big party, just a father and a baby girl, and cake.

Despite the lack of birthday excitement, little Veronica was asleep almost as soon as she and her dad were done celebrating.

Despite having the time and money to be a full-time mother, Kali wasn't able to spend much time with Veronica. She spent most of her days in bed, to tired to get up. Thankfully, Veronica was an extremely independent toddler. She would spend hours playing in her room.

Craig had grown quite happily into Fatherhood, and spent all his free time between doting on his ailing and pregnant wife, and helping his daughter learn all the skills she was going to need to grown into a smart little girl.

Of course, it's always right when it feels like things are working smoothly in your life, that a curve ball comes right for you. In the last months of Kali's pregnancy, both Craig and Kali caught a horrible cold. It laid them both up for days, and they had to take turns sleeping and caring for Veronica, meaning little time for each other.

And in the few short minutes they might get together, they were too tired to enjoy the time. Luckily, the cold seemed to let up after a week and Kali was in the home stretch of the pregnancy and starting to feel a little better. Good enough to come downstairs for a meal with her husband, just not rested enough to stay awake for all of it.

Veronica made the best she could of her time. She was alone for much of her days, which as an active toddler she didn't much mind. But occasionally starved for attention, which meant doting on poor Max.

Finally, the day arrived for Veronica's new little brother or sister to arrive. Not a completely well-timed arrival, but an arrival nonetheless. While Veronica tended to her potty, her mother howled in pain. Unfortunately, Craig was at work, and couldn't help his daughter or calm his wife.

Before long, little Jackson finally made his way into the world, to greet both mother and Sister. Things fell into a much better rhythm after Jackson was born. Kali got a return call about a job as a dancer, and started shortly after she and Craig arranged care for the kids.

Making sure sure that all hours of the day were accounted for became easier as Veronica's birthday approached. Again, it was just she and her dad while her mom was at work, and her new little brother was too young to get birthday's. Didn't bother Veronica one bit.

Her dad helped her blow out the candles, and she was happy to be able to grab her very own piece of cake and take it to the dining room to be devoured. She was also extra excited at the prospect of school, which she could start just as soon as the weekend was over.

Little Jackson proved to be just as independent as his big sister had been. Craig got a promotion at work, and he and Kali managed to work their schedules so that they had no need of nannies, meaning more time for themselves with little Jackson.

Veronica turned out to be a complete little daddies girl. Each evening as Craig came home from work, she'd rush out to greet him on the sidewalk. Kali would sometimes watch from the kitchen window as her husband greeted Veronica with a smile on her lips. She loved her little family, and couldn't wait to see what life had in store for her kids.
