Joseph proved a much active toddler than his older siblings. He spent a lot of time around the house finding new things to play with.

But he was also a pretty loving kid, and took as much time out as he could to spend with his Mom and Dad.

His older brother Jackson, was still less interested in his homework, and way more interested in the ladies. Even if they were the ladies that his mom worked with. Here he's pulled one of his Mom's co-workers outside to play a little catch.

He was also proving to be a lot more absent-minded when it came to the rest of his daily tasks. Too much thinking about the ladies, not enough paying attention to when his food was ready.

Veronica gave him a hard time for the fire.

And while Veronica hadn't quite grown out of her love of pink and the princess theme in her room, she was becoming a lot more responsible. She worked hard to get her homework in on time, and to help out around the house.

That didn't stop her brother Jackson from trying to hook her up with boys from school. She wasn't showing much interest, but he kept trying. This day in particular he invited the odd Chester Gieke home to keep Veronica busy while he chatted up another girl on their bus route.

Victoria, however had her own ideas on how to snag a date, and snuck out on various occasions hoping to make friends of find a boyfriend. A young teenage girl at on her own at night though, seemed to attract the wrong kind of attention.

And poor Joseph, left on his own late at night while Mom or Dad was working and his siblings were trying to find their own significant others, found it hard to sleep. He constantly tossed and turned throughout the night.

It's always when things seem like they're going good for the family though, when everyone seems to know what they want, when things start to go sour. On one such night, the family house, recently upgraded after several nice job promotions, was invaded.

Thankfully, the police arrived just in time, before something worse could happen. The robber had made a beeline for Veronica's room, and so did everyone else when the police burst into the house to bust the bad guy (lady). Poor Veronica then had to deal not only with the fight, but her parents who took the time upon themselves to show a little affection.

Thankfully, the Rays have figured out how to move on quickly, each in their own way. Jackson found a new girlfriend (today's girlfriend),

Kali found a way to think about something other than her impending birthday by training Max,

Joseph also was distracting himself from a birthday but he did so with homework,

And Craig was trying to get in a little more time with his wife.

With all the distractions, it seemed like Joseph's birthday came around all too quickly.

But his mom, Kali was close behind with her own birthday celebration.

And then there was this unfortunate situation shortly after. Poor Joseph may not recover. (Apologies for the odd photo.) Although it seems like Kali's birthday transition didn't bother Craig as much as he though it might.

His own transition came around all too quickly, and at a surprising time - although seemingly inconvenient for his son Jackson who was trying to make it to work.

They're pretty darned cute together in their old age: Kali and Craig.

Veronica opted out of a big birthday celebration and instead headed Downtown where she'd already spent so much time to have a nice quiet dinner with a local she'd gotten close to.

(I swear everyone's birthday was really this close together. Everyday was a new birthday.)
Jackson was the last birthday, but he wasn't quite ready for it. Mostly he was worried about the pretty girls he'd gotten to know recently. He knew he wouldn't be able to carry on quite the same way once he grew up.
